CALLING ALL ARTISTS
Hello Everyone,
I am very excited to announce a fundraiser that I will be hosting coming up this June. I will be working in tandem with Q Fest, which is an LGBTQ Film and Media Festival. My event is a silent art auction that will take place during one of the evenings of the film festival at a local Baltimore theater space. This auction is a “Small Works” show, meaning all pieces are confined to 8” x 8” x 8”. We are looking for artists from all over that would be willing to donate for the show. We are accepting all mediums, such as (but not limited to) jewelry, painting, ceramics, drawing, photography, textiles, etc. We only ask that your work be ready to hang or display. The theme of the show is Sex, Love & Rhythm. As these are smaller works, we are able to accept multiple pieces from artists. The cut-off date to receive artwork will be May 31, 2014. Please contact me directly to get a mailing address or to set up a time to drop off your works.

All money raised during the auction will be donated to two amazing Baltimore organizations. The first organization is Team Friendly Baltimore, which is a part of Mr. Friendly. Mr. Friendly is an outreach group to help fight the stigma of HIV one conversation at a time. These teams are popping up all over, and you may even have one in your area. Team Friendly Baltimore is a group that I helped get up and running and am very excited about all we have on the horizon.
