Mr. Dowling's program will include selections from famous pieces that everyone loves: Bach's Prelude in C, Beethoven's Für Elise & Moonlight Sonata, Chopin's Fantasy-Impromptu ("I'm Always Chasing Rainbows"), Minute Waltz, and Polonaise in A-flat, Liszt's Liebestraum, Debussy's Clair de lune, Rachmaninoff's 18th Variation from Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini and Prelude in C-sharp, Addinsell's Warsaw Concerto, an assortment of ragtime works by Scott Joplin, and Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue...plus perhaps a few surprise encores from Mr. Dowling's enormous arsenal of repertoire. ABOUT THE CABARET AT GERMANO'S PIATTINI: the upstairs dining room is arranged with tables and chairs facing an open performance space. Guests enjoy informal, engaging interaction with singers, actors and musicians as they dine. The full restaurant menu is served in the Cabaret. Entertainment is for dinner patrons only. The Cabaret opens at 6pm for pre-show dining. Patrons are urged to arrive and place their dinner order prior to 7pm so that the performance can begin promptly at 7:30pm. $20 tickets for show must be purchased in advance.
