Orpheus has a dark, mysterious atmosphere with goth/industrial beats on Fridays. The crowd is open and friendly and into dancing. Weekly events include gothic lolita parties.

It is a good place to go out and meet other guys. There is a pool table if you wanna to have aditional fun, but all toghether it's good place to visit.

Where you can be yourself...

To me it's a place to chilax with friends and knock back a few drinks while listening to some nifty beats.The club is not a gay bar but the atmosphere is friendly and non judgmental.I do know gay and bisexual people that go there.Also if you went downstairs to the"dungeon" you can watch erotic play like the stuff you see on "Real Sex" on HBO.It's not people having sex just mild and semi mild fetish and dom type demonstrations.I've been to many clubs and this is a diamond in the rough of Baltimore.It may not be a gay club but considering the erotic atmosphere I seriously doubt anyone is going to mess with you if you are'nt straight.

Why is this on here?

First to Review - February 23, 2008

Been there a couple times as I'm somewhat interested in the goth scene. Never saw a single same-sex couple. If this place has a regular gay clientelle, they hide well.
